(provided there is space) 9:30-10:00am Check-In The Stanford Women's Club Volleyball Team will host a fundraising grass volleyball tournament on July 31st (Saturday). The formats will include Men's Doubles and Reverse-Coed Doubles. What is Reverse-Coed? Reverse-coed games are played on a women's regulation height net. Women play as usual - hitting and blocking at the net. Men, however, must hit from behind the 10-foot-line and may never block. This format levels the playing field - making the game fun for both men and women. Click here for Reverse-Coed Doubles Rules. Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of 4 pool-play (round-robin) games. All teams will advance to playoffs. Cash Prizes will be awarded to playoff winners. For R-Coed 2s A division and Men's 2s, $9 from each team entry fee goes into the prize pot; for R-Coed 2s B division, $8 from each team entry fee goes into the prize pot. See Map • Men's 2s • Reverse-Coed 2s Grass $23-per-person if pre-registered by 7/27; $26-per-person if pre-registered by 7/30. If you cancel by 7/27, you will receive a full refund of the fees you paid. If you cancel by 7/30 (10:00 am), you will only receive a refund of half of the fees you paid (e.g. $46/2). If you cancel after 7/30 (10am), default by checking in more than 15-minutes late, or simply fail to show up, you will forfeit all the fees you paid. TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER FORM ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to see this Agreement before the day of the tournament. Minors must have a signed parental consent / waiver form to participate. We reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees they paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, you will be notified.
