The formats will include Men's Doubles and Dual-Coed 4s where half the games are Coed and half are Reverse-Coed. What is Dual-Coed? For the Dual-Coed format, teams are comprised of 2 men and 2 women. Half the games are Coed (on a men's net) and half are Reverse-Coed. Reverse-coed games are played on a women's net. Women play as usual - hitting and blocking at the net. Men, however, must hit from behind the 10-foot-line and may never block. Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of 4 pool-play (round-robin) games. All teams will advance to playoffs. Cash Prizes will be awarded to playoff winners. For Men's 2s, $9 from each team entry fee goes into the prize pot; for Dual-Coed 4s, $18 from each team entry fee goes into the prize pot. For doubles competition, second place prizes are awarded once the pot exceeds $100. See Map • Men's Doubles • Dual-Coed 4s Grass $23-per-person if pre-registered by 7/14; $26-per-person if pre-registered by 7/17 (5pm); $30-per-person for on-site registration on 7/18. If you cancel by 7/15, you will receive a full refund of the fees you paid. If you cancel by 7/17 (10:00 am), you will only receive a refund of half of the fees you paid (e.g. $46/2). If you cancel after 7/17 (10am), default by checking in more than 15-minutes late, or simply fail to show up, you will forfeit all the fees you paid. TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER FORM ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to see this Agreement before the day of the tournament. Minors must have a signed parental consent / waiver form to participate. We reserve the right to cancel the tournament at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, all players currently registered at that time will receive a full refund of the fees they paid. The tournament may be canceled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, you will be notified.
