VBmatch will host three separate Indoor Volleyball Leagues in San Francisco in the Potrero Hill area. Free parking is available in the parking lot next to the gym. Public transportation is also available.

Wednesday Format: Optional Power-REVERSE-Coed 6s
Games are played on a women's net. Women hit and block at the net as usual; men hit from the 10 and may never block. Teams may have either 4 women & 2 men, 3 women & 3 men or 2 women & 4 men.
A SPECIAL Back-Row Block Assist Rule applies in this league: one back-row female player MAY assist in blocking whenever there are less than 3 women in the front row. The back-row blocker may only block; she may not hit.
Only same-gender substitutions are allowed during a game. Games are self-officiated. If two teams can't agree on a call, the point is re-played.
League Time: Wednesdays 7:15 - 10:15 pm. For each team, game start-times vary week-by-week.
League Duration: The League will last for approximately 9-weeks starting from January 20th.
Cost: $560-per-team for a 9-week league ($20 discount for teams that register and pay the deposit by January 13th). Teams will play either 1 or 2 matches each week (on average, 1.5 matches each week). Each match consists of 10-minutes warm-up plus 2 rally-scoring games to 25 (win by 2; cap at 30). A full league will be 9-weeks. The league fees will be pro-rated if the league is shorter than 9-weeks.
NOTE: Subs are allowed and must be added to the team's roster. However, teams must pay an extra $5 for each additional player on their roster beyond the first 6. (Our insurance premium is based on the total number of unique participants.)

Free Agents (Individuals Without a Team): Individuals without a team may sign up for the Free Agent wait-list. Please be sure to indicate the league you’d like to join since we have leagues Monday to Thursday in East Bay and SF. Please also provide your height, your preferred position(s) and some information about your volleyball background, experience and skill level. We will try to find an appropriate team to place you on.
NOTE: Space is limited, so we will send you an email after we receive your deposit to let you know if we can accept your entry. You are NOT officially registered until you receive a confirmation email from us.
LEAGUE CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the league at our sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, teams currently registered at that time will receive a pro-rated refund of the fees paid. The league may be cancelled for various reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather; unavailability of the facilities/site for the tournament; inadequate number of entries; schedule conflicts of the tournament organizer; etc. In the unlikely event of a tournament cancellation, notification will be sent via email.
IMPORTANT NOTE: IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISKS / WAIVER OF CLAIMS / RELEASE OF LIABILITY / INDEMNITY / BINDING ARBITRATION / WAIVER OF STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS AGREEMENT (BEFORE YOU START PLAYING). Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to see this Agreement prior to the first day of the league. A Junior Player must be 14-17 years-old and must have a signed parental consent / waiver form.

NOTE: If you cancel after a spot has been reserved for you, you will only receive a full refund if you cancel at least 7-days ahead of the league's start date. If you cancel less than 7-days ahead of the tournament, you will receive a refund less a $20 administration fee IF AND ONLY IF the league is full (i.e. sold out) AND we are able to find a team to replace your team.
