Format of Monday League: Indoor Dual-Coed 6s Teams may field 4 men & 2 women, 3 men & 3 women or 2 men & 4 men. Dual-Coed is where half of the games are played on a men's height net with coed rules and the other half are played on a women's height net with reverse-coed rules (women play as usual; men hit from 10 and may NEVER block). There is neither a male-contact rule nor a female-contact-rule. Teams may use Back-Row Block Assist under the following circumstances : For Coed Format, if a team fields fewer than 4 male players, then that team may use Back-Row Block Assist to put up a Double-Male-Block. For Reverse-Coed Format, if a team fields fewer than 4 female players, then that team may use Back-Row Block Assist to put up a Double-Female-Block.
Free Agents (Individuals Without a Team): Individuals without a team may sign up for the Free Agent Wait-List. Please indicate which league you’d like to join. Please also provide your height, your preferred position(s) and some information about your volleyball background, experience and skill level. We will try to find an appropriate team to place you on.
League Details: The Summer 2019 Season will start on Monday 6/10/2019. The league will run for approximately 7 to 12 weeks (depending on the number of registered teams, gym availability and other factors). In general, teams will be scheduled to play 3 or 4 games each week during regular season. Each regular season game is rally-scoring to 25; win by 2; cap at 27. Following regular season, all teams advanced to playoffs.
The league fee is based on the number of regular season games which depends in part on the number of registered teams.
Team Registration Fee for Season with 32 regular season games plus Playoffs : $750-per-team NOTE: A $50 discount will be given to teams that register and pay the deposit by 5/31/2019. Also, the team registration fee will be adjusted accordingly if the season has more than or less than 32 regular season games.
INDIVIDUAL (Free Agent Player) Registration Fee for Season with 32 regular season games plus Playoffs : $140-per-Individual
NOTE: Teams may have up to 10 players (6 core players and 4 subs) on their team roster without additional fees. If your team exceeds the 4 subs limit, there will be a $5 fee for each additional player. Subs must be added to a team's roster. Subs are players outside of the league who you bring in to play on your team for one or more league nights. When you "borrow" a player from another existing team in the league, that player does NOT count as a sub and is NOT added to your team roster since that player already belongs on another team in the league.
